• Dr. Raquel Bohorquez has started her career in medicine since 2012 and worked as a pediatrician and GP in Venezuela. Her love to travel made her to apply for a job on a cruise and got hired as an Doctor with P&O Cruises in Australia and then with Marella Cruises. During this time Dr. Raquel had the opportunity to see and feel the shipboard lifestyle making her realize the huge potential of the cruise business and the high demand of crew that cruise lines have in order to run the onboard operation. At the same time it was also noticeable the lack of training for new hire crew members making it harder for supervisors to run the operation leading to more crew resignations. As a result Cruise Hospitality Center was founded with scope to train and place candidates to the faster growing industry in the world, the Cruise Industry.

Anthony Konto has been in the shipping industry for more than 40 years, started his career as an engineer on Tanker ships and moved his way up to become an Chief fleet New build manager for Japanese and Chinese shipping companies. Anthony after finishing his career in Shanghai took the new challenge as a director of global talent acquisition for Cruise Hospitality Center. Anthony has always been innovative in his approach of recruitment visiting and traveling onboard cruise ships and yachts seeking for the best talent at sea in all onboard positions starting from technical to hotel. Anthony is also one of our professors in our shipboard & online training center and he is in direct collaboration with our certification department in London for delivering our certified courses programs.
